Wondering about HBOT?
Schedule Your Consult Today!Help your body heal with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Promote new blood vessel growth
- Reduce inflammation
- Accelerate your body’s natural healing processes
HBOT is a non-invasive treatment in which you breathe concentrated oxygen inside a specialized pressurized chamber. This allows your blood to carry significantly more oxygen than it would under normal conditions.
You don’t need to be a member of Pear’d or Highland Personal Health to take advantage of the benefits of HBOT at Highland Urgent Care & Family Medicine. However, whether you’re an existing patient or not, a medical consultation is required before your first HBOT session. Our medical team will review your health history, determine whether HBOT is appropriate for you, and recommend a treatment schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes in a comfortable, monitored chamber. Most patients sit and relax, read, watch media, or simply rest during treatment.
You will be able to see and communicate with people outside the chamber at all times. At the beginning of your session, your ears may feel pressure like you’re on an airplane and it may also feel a bit warmer in the chamber. Once you’re at full pressure it actually feels quiet and calm. You might hear a soft hissing sound from the airflow. As the pressure releases at the end of the session, your ears may pop again, and the temperature will cool slightly. Afterward, there’s no downtime. You can resume normal activities right away.
The cost of the initial consultation is $150.

The number and frequency of HBOT sessions varies, depending on your specific issue. However, the benefits from HBOT build over multiple sessions. During your consultation, we will discuss all of the details of your situation and come up with the plan that works best for you.
